Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine client needs, treatment goals, and ongoing progress, adjusting treatment plans as required.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute issues, ensuring their immediate safety and addressing critical mental health concerns.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared learning, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration among participants.

• Educate clients about the effects of addiction, teaching effective coping strategies and self-management techniques to enhance their recovery journey.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other therapists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans and optimize client outcomes.

• Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to the needs of individuals dealing with addiction, drawing from a rich foundation of proven therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain timely and comprehensive documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families affected by addiction, including substance use disorders and compulsive behaviors. Clients may range from young adults to older individuals looking for support. Your role will involve creating a safe space for open dialogue, enhancing the therapeutic alliance, and empowering clients to address their unique challenges in a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.

• Must hold an active independent license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
