Desktop Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the research and innovation sector, is seeking a Desktop Technician to join their team. As a Desktop Technician, you will be part of the IT Support team supporting the campus community. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a customer‑focused attitude which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title Desktop Technician Location Clark, NJ Pay Range $25 -27/hr Responsibilities Provide face‑to‑face technical support at the IT Kiosk, assisting employees with hardware and software issues. Configure, image, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and conference room equipment. Install and troubleshoot standard software including Windows 11, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory and Office 365. Support AV equipment, network printers, and peripherals, ensuring seamless conference room operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3-5 years of proven experience as a Desktop Support Analyst. CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge is highly preferred. Proficiency in Windows 11 and Mac OS environments. Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing systems and remote support tools.
