MRI Technologist – Nights

Job Summary:
Performs routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients of all ages. Ensures patient safety, image quality, and compliance with MRI and ARRT standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations using appropriate protocols, positioning techniques, and safety procedures.
• Administer contrast media as required.
• Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists when necessary.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures.
• Follow all MRI safety standards and department policies.
• Assist radiologists with MRI procedures as needed.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Operate, calibrate, and perform safety checks on MRI equipment.
• Maintain MRI equipment and supplies.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and quality control procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Provide courteous and professional patient care.
• Perform assigned supervisory functions as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience – Required.
• ARRT Certification – Required.
• BLS Certification – Required.

Certifications:

• ARRT.
• BLS.
