Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Working Civil Foreman to support a large-scale construction project in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Civil Foreman with experience leading concrete and underground civil crews. We need someone who can work alongside the crew, read drawings, run jobs independently, maintain precise concrete tolerances, oversee excavation and underground utilities, and keep the project safe, productive, and on schedule.

Pay

Depending on Experience

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Must be available for overtime, also travel pay and stay out of town for long periods of time.

Working Civil Foreman Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside civil crews performing concrete, excavation, and underground utility work, ensuring daily production goals are met 
• Perform and oversee formwork, rebar installation, anchor bolts/embeds, concrete placement, finishing, and precision layout to required tolerances 
• Direct excavation, underground duct bank, and pipe/PVC installation, maintaining proper line, grade, slope, and elevation 
• Read and interpret civil, structural, and electrical drawings, plan upcoming work, coordinate materials/equipment, and resolve field issues independently 
• Maintain jobsite safety, quality, and scheduling, including leading JHAs/toolbox talks, inspecting work, completing daily reports, and coordinating with superintendents, inspectors, and other trades.

Working Civil Foreman Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a working foreman leading civil and concrete crews in the field. 
• Must have strong hands-on experience with concrete formwork, rebar, anchor bolts, embeds, concrete placement, and finishing. 
• Must be experienced with excavation, underground duct banks, and underground pipe/PVC installation. 
• Must be able to read and interpret civil, structural, and electrical drawings, specifications, and details. 
• Must be able to lead, motivate, and hold crews accountable while meeting daily production and project schedules. 
• Must be capable of planning and running work independently while maintaining accurate line, grade, elevation, and layout tolerances. 
• OSHA 10 is required, while OSHA 30 and trench/excavation competent-person training are preferred. 
• Must be able to work outdoors, lift 50+ lbs., work extended hours when required, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
