Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Specialist to join our growing team. This role will support a variety of human resources functions, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, benefits administration, tuition reimbursement programs, leave management, and HR compliance . The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support on workplace issues, policies, and conflict resolution. Administer employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness offerings. Manage and coordinate the company's tuition reimbursement program , including eligibility reviews, documentation tracking, and employee communication. Support leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other employee leave programs. Assist with onboarding, orientation, and new hire integration activities. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Partner with managers to address performance concerns, employee engagement initiatives, and workplace culture efforts. Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and HR programs. Assist with policy updates, audits, and special HR projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 3+ years of Human Resources experience. Strong background in employee relations and benefits administration. Experience managing or supporting tuition reimbursement programs is highly preferred. Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and employment law compliance. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
