Construction Manager

Join one of the world's most recognizable companies as a Construction Manager in Charlotte. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction project and for the short and long term success. Candidates must have construction management experience for large scale projects, preferably with Data Centers or Mission Critical Facilities. This is a long term contractor role with the opportunity for growth and career stability. Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Job type: Contract Salary: $85 - 90 per hour Work hours: 8am to 4pm Education: Bachelors Responsibilities Project Oversight: Directly manage and refine long-range and short-term plans to ensure the success of data center construction projects On-Site Leadership: Direct day-to-day activities, manage information flow, and control costs and schedules Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact for Microsoft project teams, general contractors, vendors, and consultants Pre-Construction: Review bid packages, develop scopes of work, and oversee procurement processes for GC's, vendors, and commissioning agents Quality & Safety: Verify that work is conducted in a high quality standard and implement and monitor safety programs Documentation and Reporting: Conduct site walks to review progress, verify schedule updates, and oversee invoice and quality reviews Qualifications 10+ years of Construction Management experience in large scale projects, preferably in Data Centers or Mission Critical Facilities Technical understanding in strategic planning, resource allocation and production methods Experience managing every aspect of a project from cradle to grave Experience level: Manager Minimum 10 years of experience Education: Bachelors Skills: Construction Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
