Job Title: Machine Operator (Overnight Shift)

Location: Columbus, NE

Schedule: Overnight shift - 40 hours / week

Pay Rate: 22.70 / hour

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operators to support manufacturing and production operations. This role involves operating equipment, inspecting and packaging products, monitoring machine performance, maintaining quality standards, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

Candidates should be comfortable working overnight shifts, following safety and quality procedures, and working as part of a team in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Schedule Details

• Shift: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.
• Schedule Type: Rotating days, with alternating workdays and days off.
• Work Pattern: The schedule rotates between working Monday and Tuesday, Friday through Sunday, and Wednesday and Thursday, with corresponding days off. The cycle repeats.
• Work Environment: Manufacturing and cleanroom production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and perform production process functions.
• Monitor machine operations and identify potential issues or conditions outside acceptable operating limits.
• Visually inspect, package, and verify product quality.
• Perform final inspections and process testing as required.
• Accurately record inspection results and production data.
• Respond to and reset equipment alarms as needed.
• Maintain equipment according to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Clean and sanitize machines and the immediate work area.
• Stock supplies needed for production operations.
• Move raw materials and finished goods as required.
• Work in a cleanroom environment while following established procedures.
• Perform reprocessing work as assigned by a supervisor or team lead and maintain productivity.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support efficient production.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Follow applicable quality, safety, and operational procedures.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support production requirements.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience if a high school diploma or GED is not held.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English or Spanish.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate production records.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and follow a rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with product inspection, packaging, or quality control.
• Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and manufacturing safety standards.
• Experience monitoring equipment and responding to machine alarms.
