Registered Nurse - Women's Services

Location: Smyrna, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: Join our dedicated team providing exceptional care in Women's Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will support and empower laboring patients while offering personalized birth experiences. Our unit fosters a collaborative environment with 24/7 in-house midwives and dedicated CRNA and OB coverage.

Responsibilities:

Circulating in the OR and supporting various procedures, including IUPC, FSE, and MgSO4 administration.
Promoting vaginal birth opportunities aligned with patient preferences.
Providing couplet care in the postpartum unit, ensuring newborns remain at the bedside.
Collaborating with a midwife team and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Assisting in the operating room and attending to high-risk deliveries as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active RN license.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring.
Experience or knowledge in spinning babies and STABLE is helpful.
