Patient Access Technician

Job Summary: Perform general patient access duties such as greeting patients, scheduling patient appointments for all Chehalis Tribal Wellness Center (CTWC) services, ensuring regular updates of patient registration. Routing patient calls and assisting patients with eligibility questions. Back-up the Billing & Coding Technicians with accepting payments and issuing receipts. Assist patients to obtain and process insurance information for billing purposes. Assist patients to establish eligibility for Medicaid, Medicare, Veteran Assistance (VA), Women Infant & Children (WIC) and other government programs.

Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED and one (1) year working within an office setting required. Further education/training in typing, general office procedures, word processing and personal computer preferred. Prefer experience with American Indian/Alaska Native communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.36 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
