PackerThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving inbound freight, processing and shipping outbound orders, and light assembly. This role involves maintaining an accurate inventory and a clean, organized warehouse.ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day operational warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading materials, picking, packing, and shipping orders, and utilizing handheld tools.Complete accurate data entry using multiple computer systems and programs.Operate material handling machinery including pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, scales, and forklifts.Stock and move materials correctly throughout the warehouse.Maintain accurate data inventory by assisting with cycle counts and physical inventory.Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Essential Skills6+ months of warehouse experience.Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Experience with forklift, inventory, picking, packing, RF scanner, material handling, pallet jack, unloading, and shipping & receiving.Additional Skills & QualificationsAny forklift operating experience is a plus.Ability to use basic hand tools.Experience in boxing and bagging is advantageous.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Janesville, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
