Nonprofit Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Nonprofit Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $105,000 to $130,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure sound fiscal management.
• Generate regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into the organization's financial health.
• Prepare and analyze budgets and financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash fllow statements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and non-profit reporting requirements
• Manage budgeting processes, working closely with the Executive Director to develop and monitor budgets.
• Track record of success in a senior finance role demonstrating effecting nonprofit financial management, including grant accounting and compliance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and FASB standards applicable to nonprofit organizations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and accounting software's.
