The Opportunity

As a Floating General Manager, you will serve as a senior on-site leader across a portfolio of multifamily communities, providing operational, financial, and leadership support wherever it's needed. This highly visible role requires flexibility, strong judgment, and the ability to quickly assess operations, stabilize teams, and drive results.

You will travel extensively, including overnight and out-of-state assignments, to support day-to-day operations, lead teams through transitions, and ensure each property meets Trinity's performance, service, and compliance standards. This role is ideal for a seasoned multifamily leader who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys variety, challenge, and impact.

Compensation: $80,000 to $85,000 annual base, based on your experience, plus potential to earn commission, renewal bonuses and a 10% performance bonus, paid quarterly.

Travel Requirements: Travel for this position is significant, requiring 90% nationwide travel. This team member can expect to travel for two weeks at a time, followed by a weekend at home. Candidates must live in close proximity to a major airport to accommodate frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within the multifamily housing industry required.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree and industry certifications (CPM, CAM, RMP, CMCA) are preferred but not required.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), SharePoint, ADP. Experience with Yardi, Entrata, Asana, and EliseAI is a bonus.

Availability & Travel

This is a full-time position that requires significant flexibility. Extensive travel up to 90%, including overnight and out-of-state assignments, is expected. Availability for nights, weekends, and occasional holidays is required, along with active participation in company meetings, functions, and events.

Physical Demands

This position requires regular sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands and arms. Occasional climbing may be required. Extended use of computers and telephones is necessary. The ability to respond to visual and auditory alarms is required. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to varying work environments.
