About the Job Packaging Supervisor
Packaging Supervisor needs 2+ years experience
Packaging Supervisor requires:
- 5:30am-6:30pm
- Must have steel toed safety shoes
- Experience with cGMP environment
- Experience working in device manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Good technical writing and editing skills.
- Previous Leadership experience
- Organizational and motivational skills
Packaging Supervisor duties:
- Ensures staffing and training for operators working on the packaging line. Ensures the team is adhering to policies and procedures.
- Communicate with the Area Management on quality, equipment, and operational issues.
- Act as both administrator and technical leader for operations, setting a good example through demonstrated knowledge of procedures, compliance with quality systems and use of proper technique. Able to fill in when operator staffing requires it.
- Represent the shift operations at huddles and provide feedback to the floor on updates from said huddles.
- Supervise temporary employees for several contracting agencies.
- Handle escalation within the team.
