About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Finance Data Governance to spearhead the establishment and operationalization of a critical finance data governance function. This role is pivotal in supporting the finance transformation project and ensuring the long-term integrity of financial data. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and leading the finance data governance organization, including the development of a roadmap for Master Data Management (MDM) implementation, and the establishment of standard finance data hierarchies and policies. Active involvement in the design of the future-state ERP chart of accounts is also a key aspect of the position. The VP will work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly in IT, enterprise data, FP&A, business operations, and sales, to address data challenges and align on common standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' experience in finance, data governance, or enterprise data management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Direct experience in designing or implementing a data governance function, familiarity with finance data structures in a large, multinational organization, and experience with MDM platforms and enterprise data architecture are essential. The role requires a demonstrated ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders and a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud-based finance data hubs, MDM platforms, and a background in ERP implementation with a focus on master data and chart of accounts design.
