Delivery Director

Role Description

As a Delivery Director in a Computacenter Delivery Region, you will be accountable for leading a team of Delivery Managers aligned to Customer accounts in Computacenter’s core sales regions, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and U.S.A.

• Contribute to the functional strategy whilst establishing team-specific objectives and goals.
• Create leadership and followership through leading and managing teams of people, both directly and through matrix management.
• Develop and motivate teams to ensure the delivery of both functional and business targets.
• Implement and operate an effective governance model to ensure that services are delivered to satisfy both the Customer’s and Computacenter’s required outcomes.
• Establish productive relationships and networks at a Senior Executive level.
• Act as a point of escalation and guidance for major and complex issues and campaigns.
• Play a key role in the Delivery Leadership senior team to grow Computacenter’s business.
• Coach and mentor other employees to ensure the continuous development of Computacenter and its people.
• Engage as a senior manager in the wider organisation, working within strategic change, cost optimisation, and ongoing transformational initiatives in our Group Delivery business.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experienced in managing customers and operations in a multi-client MSP environment.
• Able to inspire and develop your team to be their best.
• Talented at influencing senior colleagues to improve and grow operations and services effectively.
• Experienced practitioner in IT Service Management.
• Trained in ITIL to Expert status.

Requirements

• Lead and drive the performance of internal and Third-Party delivery teams against agreed standards, service levels, and policies.
• Drive continual improvement of both the efficiency & effectiveness of delivery processes and services.
• Implement governance according to the policies and operating models defined by Computacenter.
• Support the delivery of Change Services (projects, programmes, and professional services engagements).
• Work alongside and support Sales and Services colleagues in a matrix leadership role.
• Develop and implement a Communications Plan for your Group Delivery location.
• Take accountability for capacity planning to include all Computacenter ISPs and cross vendor.
• Support Group Services colleagues in the negotiation and agreement of new contracts.
• Lead the management of all agreed contracts in relation to delivery in your location.
• Lead and manage the delivery of contracted Run Services in your region.
• Work in partnership with Group Delivery senior management to meet Group Delivery objectives.
• Perform all Line Management responsibilities for all Direct Reports.
• Develop, maintain, and execute a People strategy, including succession planning and talent identification.
• Lead the development and execution of an Employee Engagement and Enablement strategy.
• Develop, maintain, and execute a communications strategy in support of Delivery Leadership’s goals.
• Act as a Mentor, Coach, and Leader within wider in-country Services and CC business.
