Job Opportunity: Mechanic / Laborer Company:Bud's Towing Location:Bowling Green, VA Position Type:Full-Time (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mon–Fri) About Bud’s Towing At Bud’s Towing, we pride ourselves on being the go-to experts for Heavy Hauling, Towing & Recovery, and Fleet Repairs. We’re a team of dedicated professionals committed to keeping our community moving, and we’re looking for a hardworkingMechanic/Laborerto join our crew immediately. The Role We are looking for a versatile individual who is ready to jump into a fast-paced environment. This role is a mix of shop labor and mechanical work. You’ll be responsible for assisting with fleet repairs and maintenance, ensuring our equipment is top-notch, and helping with general shop operations. Want to make extra cash? We also offer acommission-based opportunityfor on-call towing during nights and weekends. Don’t worry if you haven't towed before—we provide full in-house training! What We’re Looking For Experience:Previous mechanical or shop experience is preferred. Certifications:A State Inspection License is a huge plus, but not required. Availability:Standard hours are 9–5, Monday–Friday, but you must be available for occasional required nights and weekends. Compliance:Due to our agency contracts, all hires must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings, as well as background and driving record checks. Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay:$20–$28 per hour (depending on your experience level). Insurance:Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.Bud’s covers 50%for both the employee and one dependent. Future Planning:401k plan and Paid Time Off (PTO).
