Junior Cybersecurity Analyst

Salary: $68,500 - 96,500 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with 0 to 3 years of relevant civilian or military professional experience.
• A bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required, or equivalent experience.
• We require CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization process is needed.
• We expect exposure to, or experience with, DOD cybersecurity tools such as DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tenable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator.
• An active DOD Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is required.
• Preferred background includes prior internship or hands-on experience in a DOD environment.
• Additional entry-level certifications or coursework related to operating systems, such as Linux or Windows administration, is preferred.

• We provide cybersecurity and IT support in alignment with SECNAV M-5239.2 for CSWF roles.
• We maintain required certifications and training for all information systems and operating systems within scope.
• We assist with POA&M updates.
• We track IAVM items and patches.
• We support system authorization and continuous monitoring activities under RMF to produce control evidence.
• We use DOD-approved cybersecurity tools, including DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tenable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator, to assess, remediate, and report system security posture.
