This role is responsible for managing documentation, maintaining project records, and providing essential office support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Field Clerk will assist with office organization, communication, and coordination between project personnel, subcontractors, and clients.What You'll DoSet up and organize the project office during initial mobilization.Manage the Quality Control System (QCS) and process QC submittals.Prepare and process accounts payable documentation.Collect and verify certified payroll reports.Track, record, and verify project information and documentation.Contact subcontractors to request required project documents and information.Perform document control functions, including archiving and project closeout activities.Coordinate and schedule project meetings.Answer phones, direct callers, and respond to inquiries from clients, subcontractors, and team members.Respond to and manage email correspondence.Order office supplies as needed to maintain daily operations.Make copies, scan, and file documents in an organized and secure manner.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files and records.This job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.What We're Looking ForMinimum of 2 years of prior administrative experience.At least 1 year of submittal clerk experience.Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills with great attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.Construction knowledge or experience preferred but not required.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.At Zachry, we invest in our people because they're the foundation of our success.
