As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatcher Driver in Toronto, OH , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.82 / Hour

DayTimeMon02:45 PM - 10:45 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response support appropriate to the location.
• Monitor communication systems, receive calls and incident reports, and dispatch the appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner during routine operations and critical situations.
• Maintain detailed logs, activity reports, and incident documentation to support security-related operations, shift handoffs, and/or follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding alarms, maintenance concerns, traffic flow, and other security-related or operational issues within the manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, equipment concerns, and/or access issues while working conditions and environments vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
