Overview
Registered Nurse - PCU/IMCU travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 08/24/2026 for a 13-week contract. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay range of $2,145 to $2,316 per week. Shift: 2x3 days. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital setting, with floating to other units as needed. The unit serves adult patients with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions and operates with a 64-bed capacity (15 designated Neuro beds).

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to IMCU/PCU patients, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-op cases
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications per orders, titrate therapies, and coordinate with the care team
- Manage patients on chronic ventilators with respiratory therapy assistance
- Document using EPIC EMR, perform accurate handoffs, and maintain detailed patient records
- Float to other units as needed, maintaining patient safety and care continuity
- Respond to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions

Requirements
- Active NY RN license with NURSYS verification; RTO must be included at submission; ALL RN licenses
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
- EPIC EMR experience
- Ability to work in an IMCU/PCU setting and float to related units as required
- Local rates available for local candidates within 75 miles of Utica, NY
