Accountant

Our client in Louisville, KY is seeking an Accountant to support monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, performing financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain account reconciliations in support of the monthly close process. Assist with asset accounting activities, including unitization of assets as needed. Perform accounting calculations, financial analysis, and respond to data requests. Prepare supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Utilize financial systems to analyze accounting activity and generate reports. Maintain accurate accounting records and support compliance with established accounting procedures and internal controls. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on special projects and other assigned responsibilities.
