What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant patients
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy and supportive treatments
• Perform bedside procedures such as CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for patient documentation
• Monitor patient vitals, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care

What You Need
Required:

• Valid Louisiana RN license or multi-state license (Nurse Compact)
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• At least 1 year of recent hematology/oncology nursing experience

Preferred:

• Experience in Bone Marrow Transplant units
• Ability to handle complex patient cases and respond swiftly in emergency situations
