IT Systems Administrator

Emerge Talent Solutions is partnering with a client to identify an experienced IT professional with strong expertise in Microsoft 365 (O365), Active Directory administration, and Microsoft Autopilot deployment. This role also includes Help Desk and end-user support responsibilities, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working across both infrastructure administration and day-to-day technical support, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable operations across the organization.

Essential Functions

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 (O365) services, including user provisioning and deprovisioning
• Manage Active Directory administration, including user accounts, group policies, and organizational units
• Administer and support Microsoft Autopilot, including deployment and user adoption
• Implement and maintain security and access management protocols
• Support identity-related technologies and single sign-on (SSO) systems
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across enterprise environments
• Provide Help Desk support and end-user assistance, including handling support tickets and resolving desktop and application issues
• Perform user account administration and support day-to-day IT operations

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system security, compliance, and best practices
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
• Support enterprise-level environments and multi-site infrastructure needs

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (O365) administration
• Strong background in Active Directory administration and Group Policy management
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Autopilot, including administration, deployment, and user adoption
• Experience with security and access management, including identity and access provisioning
• Familiarity with identity-related technologies (e.g., Azure AD, SSO, MFA)
• Experience supporting enterprise-level environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues
• Experience providing Help Desk support, handling support tickets, and resolving desktop/application issues
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Combination of infrastructure administration and end-user support experience preferred
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Administrator Associate) a plus

Work Environment

• 100% in office position, Tarrytown, NY
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
• Pay range is $30 - 40 /hour, DOE
