Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for an IT Support Specialist in Valhalla, NY. Description Provide support for child welfare applications and initiatives. Day to Day tasks to be performed by candidate include Provide user support via in-person, email and telephone Provide direct, on-site instruction to individual users and small groups Provide instruction on newly released functionality Deliver presentations to line staff Monitor compliance with data entry requirements Review training materials Provide technical assistance with data warehouse. Mandatory Qualifications Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer. Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance. 36 months of experience providing IT support in a Child Welfare environment. Child welfare is defined as child protective, foster care / permanency or preventive services. 36 months of experience providing implementation support services for new application builds in a child welfare environment. Child welfare is defined as child protective, foster care / permanency or preventive services. 36 months of experience providing on-site user support for a large scale (15k + users) distributed child welfare application. Child welfare is defined as child protective, foster care / permanency or preventive services. 36 months of experience working on a large scale (15k+ users) roll out starting with a needs assessment, moving to production rollout and ending with ongoing support.
