Quality Control Technician

Job Description:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing inspections, testing, and quality verification activities to ensure products meet company specifications and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify quality issues, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives while complying with GMP and quality system requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing inspections, testing, and quality verification activities to ensure products meet company specifications and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify quality issues, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives while complying with GMP and quality system requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on materials and finished products.
- Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional testing using standard inspection equipment.
- Review and document inspection results in accordance with company procedures.
- Identify non-conforming materials and initiate quality notifications.
- ssist with root cause investigations, CAPA activities, and corrective actions.
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing required documentation.
- Maintain calibration records for inspection and measuring equipment.
- Review manufacturing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and company quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality enhancement projects.
- Maintain organized laboratory and inspection areas.
- Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.
- 2-4 years of Quality Control or Manufacturing experience.
- Experience performing inspections in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, or ISO 13485 standards preferred.
- Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM is a plus.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- ssociate Degree in Science, Engineering, Quality, or related discipline preferred.
- High School Diploma with relevant quality experience will also be considered.
