Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Job ID: 88572 Location: Nashville, Tennessee What you will be doing:
- Perform month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Maintain cash balances and funding requests
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Support accounts payable processes and invoice approvals
- Ensure timely payment of real estate taxes
- Assist with year-end audits and tax support
- Perform lease maintenance and CAM reconciliations
- Monitor loan covenant compliance
- Partner with property managers, community managers, and operations teams
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and special projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting
- 2-5+ years of accounting experience
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- CPA or CPA-track candidates highly attractive
- Real estate, multifamily, construction, or property accounting experience preferred but not required
- Yardi experience preferred; client is willing to train the right candidate
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving environment
