Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Job ID: 88572 Location: Nashville, Tennessee What you will be doing: Perform month‑end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Maintain cash balances and funding requests Complete monthly bank reconciliations Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules Support accounts payable processes and invoice approvals Ensure timely payment of real estate taxes Assist with year‑end audits and tax support Perform lease maintenance and CAM reconciliations Monitor loan covenant compliance Partner with property managers, community managers, and operations teams Prepare ad hoc analyses and special projects What you must have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting 2–5+ years of accounting experience Public accounting experience strongly preferred CPA or CPA‑track candidates highly attractive Real estate, multifamily, construction, or property accounting experience preferred but not required Yardi experience preferred; client is willing to train the right candidate Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
