Service Advisor PositionWe are currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our service team. The Service Advisor will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their vehicle service needs, providing expert advice and guidance, and ensuring a positive service experience from start to finish. Our Service Advisors act as the liaison between Customer and Technician, by providing the customer with in-depth information about their vehicle's maintenance and assuring repairs are completed in the appropriate time frame and budget quoted.Responsibilities:Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive at the dealership for service appointments, and listen attentively to their vehicle concerns and service needs.Conduct thorough vehicle inspections upon check-in, and provide clear and accurate explanations of recommended services and repair options to customers.Estimate service costs, including parts and labor, and provide customers with detailed written estimates for approval before work begins.Coordinate service appointments and schedules, ensuring that customers' vehicles are serviced in a timely manner and that appointments are scheduled efficiently to maximize technician productivity.Communicate regularly with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicles, notifying them of any additional repairs or services needed, and obtaining approval for any changes to the original service plan.Coordinate with service technicians and parts department staff to ensure that all necessary parts and materials are available for scheduled service appointments, and that repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery arrangements for customers, including arranging transportation or loaner vehicles as needed.Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle history in the dealership's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.Follow dealership policies and procedures, including safety protocols and warranty guidelines, in all aspects of service advisor duties.Staying up to date on Manufacturer trainingQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in automotive technology or customer service preferred.Previous 2 years experience as a service advisor or in a related role, preferably in an automotive dealership or service center.
