Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, delivering clear and compassionate explanations throughout each process.
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunction issues.
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records using the electronic medical system.
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Educational Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
