The Hairstylist/Sales/Receptionist is an integral part of the salon team, providing expert hair styling services while delivering exceptional customer service. This multifaceted role involves client consultation, managing appointments, and supporting sales efforts through product recommendations. Reporting directly to the salon manager, the position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional hair styling, cutting, and coloring techniques
• Consult with clients to understand their styling preferences and provide personalized recommendations
• Promote and sell salon products to enhance customer experience and increase sales revenue
• Schedule and manage client appointments efficiently
• Greet and receive clients warmly to ensure excellent customer service
• Maintain and manage salon inventory to support daily operations
• Handle telephone communication with clients and vendors
• Support the salon team in delivering a professional and welcoming environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in hairstyling, including hair cutting and coloring
• Proven customer service and sales skills within a salon or retail environment
• Familiarity with appointment scheduling and Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Strong communication, multitasking, and time management abilities
• Professional appearance and demeanor
