Because we know that when we do right by people, we ultimately do right by pets!Full Time Employee Benefits & Perks:No scheduled weekends!Full benefits package (medical, dental and vision), 401(k)Safety Footwear ReimbursementOvertime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hrs./weekPet Perks Employee discount on pet food & supplies6 Paid Holidays, including 1 floating holidayVacation accrual up to 88 hours (11 days) annually, paid sick timeSchedule: Monday - Friday, 5am - 1:30pmCompensation: $19.57Position SummaryThe Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing routine scheduled facility cleaning and maintenance, including but not limited to: trash collection, sweeping, dusting, washing floors/dump bin/shelves/barrels/balers, restroom cleaning, charging equipment, loading and sorting pallets, baling cardboard and assisting with pest control programs.ResponsibilitiesMaintain the facility by supporting each department with sanitation and cleanliness needsPerform duties on the Master Cleaning Schedule for daily, monthly, annual and "as needed" tasksAdhere to food safety and quality assurance policies and proceduresComplete cleaning schedule logs and equipment checklistsPerform minor repairs to some equipment, as well as light warehouse maintenanceReceive and perform additional cleaning/leveling assignments as necessaryMaintain a clean and organized work areaPerform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations including GMP guidelinesLifts 30-40 lbs frequentlyRequirementsCandidate must have the ability to read, write and understand EnglishGood communication skillsStrong attention to detail and good time-management with the ability to multi-task and follow upWork both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environmentSome working knowledge of GMPs, food defense, pest control and food safety preferredCandidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitudeHigh School Education or equivalentExperience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, ride-on pallet jack), preferredFood industry and audit experience a plusAny offers of employment are contingent upon passing a required background checkPet Food Experts is an equal opportunity employer.
