Position: Epic Hospital Billing (HB) & HB Claims Analyst
Location: Remote (most be currently located in California)
Duration: 6-month initial contract (likely extension up to 2 years)
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and HB Claims Analysts to support a large-scale Epic initiative. This role focuses strictly on production support, ticket resolution, and system maintenance—ensuring operational stability and keeping the lights on while assisting with upcoming migration efforts. Note: This is a maintenance and support role, not a build or implementation position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day Epic HB production support and troubleshoot user issues.
- Resolve support tickets, manage maintenance, and optimize system stability.
- Support Epic migration initiatives through operational and application support.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams for swift resolutions.
- Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and system changes.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of dedicated Epic Hospital Billing (HB) experience.
- Strong background in Epic HB Claims support (highly preferred for Claims roles).
- Proven track record in ticket management, production support, and system maintenance.
- Direct experience supporting healthcare organizations through Epic application migrations.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Epic HB and/or HB Claims certification.
- Previous Epic consulting or contract experience.
