Associated Fire Protection is currently recruiting for a Scheduling Coordinator. We're dedicated to delivering exceptional quality service experiences to our customers. The scheduling coordinator plays an integral role in ensuring our customers are getting the best experience. They will orchestrate field technician's schedules so they can be in the right place, at the right time, with the right tools. Job Specific Functions to Include But Not Limited To:

• Manage and optimize daily and weekly schedules for a team of field technicians, balancing customer priorities, technician availability, and geographic efficiency while meeting daily revenue goals.
• Monitor job progress in real time, adjusting schedules proactively to handle urgent requests, delays, or changes.
• Explain company services to customers and prospective customers.
• Serve as the first point of contact for scheduling inquiries, providing timely and professional responses
• Communicate clearly with technicians about job details, required tools, and customer expectations.
• Review jobs/work orders- ensure proper material is pulled and appropriate manpower is scheduled.
• Enter and review time sheets for team technicians as required.
• Manage team open work order list.
• Managing the permit and reports process.
• Provide exceptional customer service; assist customers with their technical needs and ensure all inquiries and complaints are handled.
• Assist with invoicing and collection calls as needed.
• Assist team supervisor as well as various other departments with functions as needed.
• Serve on the emergency service manager rotation after a period of service.

Additional Requirements/Experience Including But Not Limited To:

• Previous experience scheduling field employees is required.
• Two years of related experience scheduling is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• Familiarity with the Fire Protection industry is preferred.
• Must have experience working with Microsoft Office in particular, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must be able to keep appointments and show up to work on time.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and any applicable background screens/checks.
• Must be a team player and treat others with respect.
• Attitude and actions are in line with company's mission statement, vision and values.
• The position has frequent periods of stress. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure as needed.
• Must be able to understand and comply with the company's safety and employment policies
• Ability to make sound decisions. This may include making on-the-spot decisions.
