Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated paraprofessional in the greater Columbus area. We’re seeking enthusiastic, compassionate professionals to fill several full-time contract positions supporting high school and elementary students. These roles begin as soon as possible and continue through May 27th, offering the chance to work in inclusive, collaborative environments where you’ll truly make an impact.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act/Every Student Succeeds Act) certification for paraprofessionals
• One of the following educational backgrounds:
  • Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • At least 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours from an accredited college
  • ParaPro examination completion with a qualifying score
• Ability to support students with multiple or cross-categorical disabilities
• Positive, patient demeanor and a team-centric mindset
• Comfortable working full-time, 40 hours per week

Key responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction and provide individualized assistance
• Collaborate with teachers and other aides to foster a productive learning environment
• Assist with behavioral, academic, and social support in MDLIC and cross-categorical settings
• Contribute to the success of small class sizes (MDLIC classrooms capped at 8 students; BLFIC classes at 12)
• Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
