Office Assistant Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Additional customer service, business, or office training is beneficial.

Office Assistant Experience Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to provide professional, courteous, and solution-focused customer service. Experience using computers, business software, and data entry systems. Proficient in QuickBooks. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Office Assistant Job Duties Perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and other user-friendly accounting systems. Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, and assist with payroll as needed. Communicate effectively with team members, including those who may be assertive, while maintaining professionalism. Ensure all office processes are followed correctly and consistently. Answer phones, manage correspondence, and support daily office operations. Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as required.

Office Assistant Physical Capabilities Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while assisting customers. Frequent use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment. Ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and business partners. Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and data entry tasks throughout the workday.
