We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals located in Salem, OR . As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling lives and achieve their goals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in someone's life.

Pay: $17.25 - $19.75 per hour depending on prior experience

Duties:

• Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
• Implement individualized care plans and document progress
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of individuals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Patience, empathy, and compassion for others
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
• First aid and CPR certification preferred
