Regional Manager - Charlotte, NC

Smile Doctors, a leading Orthodontic Support Organization, is seeking a Regional Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina, to oversee multiple practice locations and drive growth, profitability, and patient and team satisfaction. Role Summary In this role, you will support smooth operations, implement new initiatives, maintain positive working relationships with doctors and team members, and serve as an ambassador to the community. Responsibilities Build and maintain positive, productive working relationships with doctors in the region Coach and develop team members at practice locations within the region Serve as a cultural leader in the region and monitor and manage team morale Oversee practice location performance and operations, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual metrics Understand the practice location staffing model and manage staffing levels effectively Support strategic decisions within the region and proactively bring ideas and proposals to leadership for review Ensure the ultimate patient experience is being delivered at each practice location Support the integration of new affiliations Support the implementation of new processes and initiatives by understanding the unique operational nuances of each practice location and ensuring efficient adoption of initiatives Review and support management of practice location schedules and doctor coverage Visit each practice location at least quarterly and conduct weekly discussions with leadership at practice locations Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance goals Problem‑solving skills with the ability to find creative solutions Servant leadership mindset with strong coaching and conflict resolution skills Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize work Prerequisites for Success Minimum of three years’ experience in a multi‑unit leadership role Experience in orthodontics/dental/healthcare industry preferred, but not required Benefits Competitive salary plus Bonus Opportunity Medical, dental, vision and life insurance Short and long-term disability coverage 401(k) plan 3 weeks paid time off in your first year + paid holidays Discounts on braces and clear aligners for you and your family members Smile Doctors and all our affiliating practices are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and welcome diversity in our organization.
