This individual will lead 2ndshift operations, overseeing both people and workflow during critical evening production hours. About the Role We’relooking for a hands-on Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead our 2nd-shift compounding and fulfillment team.As the anchor for evening operations, this individual keeps production running smoothly, supports the team, and ensures quality and safety after senior leadership has left for the day.This managerguidesthe shift, solvesproblems as they arise, and makessure every order leaving the building meets our standards. This position is open to Licensed pharmacists with operational leadership experience, or Experienced non-pharmacist pharmacy leaders with strong backgrounds in compounding or high-volume production environments Salary range : $85,000 - $95,000 Key Responsibilities Oversee all compounding and fulfillment activities during the shift, ensuring compliance with state regulations, USP standards, and internal procedures. Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and production pace — stepping in quickly when bottlenecks, equipment issues, or accuracy concerns arise. Maintainaccuratelogs, documentation, and shift records to support quality and regulatory requirements. Ensure the environment stays safe, organized, and compliant, including PPE use and cleanroom discipline where applicable. Supervise all 2nd-shift staff, providing coaching, feedback, and accountability. Manage scheduling, attendance, and coverage planning for your shift. Reinforce training, support new team members, and help build a culture of consistency and reliability. Serve as the primary point of contact for questions, escalations, and operational decisions during the shift. Lead structured handoffs between day, evening, and overnight teams. Communicate staffing concerns, production challenges, and quality trends to pharmacy leadership. Partner with leaders on process improvements, equipment needs, and workflow enhancements. Work closely with pharmacists, quality, and compliance teams to uphold USP 795, 797, 800, and all applicable regulations. Document and escalate deviations or quality concerns promptly. If you are a licensed pharmacist, you may also Perform or oversee verification steps as permitted Serve as pharmacist-in-charge or designated person when assigned If you are a non-pharmacist operations leader, your focus will be on Operational execution Documentation accuracy What We’re Looking For 5+ years in a pharmacy, compounding, or high-volume production environment Experience supervising people (not just workflow) Strong understanding of regulated operations and production-based pharmacy work Confidence making decisions independently during off-hours High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Proficiency with Excel and operational tracking tools Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Additional Qualifications Compounding or fulfillment experience preferred Background as a senior technician, lead tech, supervisor, or operations manager Compounding experience (sterile or non-sterile) strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Jungle Jim's Pharmacy
