About the Role

A logistics company in Joliet, IL is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and staff management. This role oversees inbound and outbound shipments, WMS-based tracking, team supervision, and warehouse safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments.

- Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.

- Implement proper storage and labeling systems to minimize loss or misplacement.

- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities (receiving, picking, repacking, shipping).

- Monitor productivity and set performance targets.

- Use a warehouse management system (WMS) to track orders and inventory.

- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff.

- Create work schedules and assign tasks.

- Monitor employee performance and enforce company policies.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

- Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment.

- Prepare reports on inventory accuracy, productivity, and costs.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in a supervisory role.

- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean required.

- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year.
