Job Summary:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services in an acute care setting covering all areas, primarily serving adult patients with some pediatric cases in the emergency room. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a start date of July 20, 2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Omaha, Nebraska
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with 36 hours per week and every third weekend
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) verification, minimum of 1 year of experience, Certifications including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Verification and BLS Certification, and a current license to submit
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Draw ABGs, perform EKGs, assist with intubation, and familiarity with hospital equipment such as Drager, LTV, I-vent, V-60, Vapotherm; ability to assist respiratory managers or supervisors
• Additional Information: Role requires use of PAPR, CAPR, and N95 respiratory protection equipment; department-specific orientation is 2 days; night shift self-scheduling between 6:30 and 7, with a 30-minute call response time; expected to assist in all areas including ER, inpatient, and outpatient services; must be able to draw ABGs and assist with EKGs.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Department: Covering all areas with hospitalist and intensivist in-house 24/7.
