Account Specialist, Migraine - Brooklyn, NY

Account Specialist promotes migraine and specialty pharmaceutical products to community practices and health systems in the Brooklyn area. The role involves building customer relationships, identifying clinical and operational needs, and providing training to medical professionals while executing sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Promote products to meet or exceed sales goals across assigned community and hospital accounts
- Identify customer needs related to training, clinical operations, and reimbursement; coordinate solutions
- Deliver anatomical and procedural education and injection training to residents, fellows, and hospital personnel
- Utilize AbbVie sales and data resources to drive product growth and implement marketing strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues on resident and fellow training execution across hospital systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or business; or 5+ years technical experience with 3+ years sales
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience with Buy & Bill and specialty pharmacy products preferred
- Ability to lift and move 25–100 lb training models
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening and safe driving requirements
- Healthcare industry representative credentialing eligibility and background check clearance
- Documented strong sales performance in clinical or consultative sales environment preferred
