Account Specialist, Migraine - Long Island East, NY

AbbVie seeks an Account Specialist to promote migraine and specialty products to healthcare facilities and practices across Long Island. The role involves building customer relationships, delivering clinical training, and driving sales growth through education and consultative engagement.
Responsibilities
- Promote products and meet sales goals across community practices and health systems
- Identify customer needs and coordinate appropriate clinical, training, and reimbursement support
- Deliver anatomical and procedural training to residents, fellows, and hospital staff
- Utilize AbbVie sales tools and data resources to enhance product adoption and territory growth
- Collaborate with peers to execute trainings and support approved product indications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or business; or 5+ years technical experience with 3+ years sales
- Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products preferred
- Valid driver's license, ability to pass drug screening and safe driving requirements
- Healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing eligibility and compliance capability
- Strong sales track record in clinical or consultative roles with complex selling skills
- Ability to lift and carry 25–100 lb training models
- Willingness to travel regularly and attend overnight training events
