Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with high school students in special education settings
- Familiarity with ABA methodologies and their classroom implementation
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and deliver individualized lesson plans for students with varying needs
- Utilize ABA techniques to support positive behavior and academic growth
- Monitor progress, assess student performance, and adjust strategies as required
- Partner with general education teachers, aides, and specialists to implement IEP goals
- Engage and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff members
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
