Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Maryland SLP license (required)
• Current CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Experience in school-based, pediatric, and/or healthcare SLP settings
• Familiarity with K-12 caseloads, IEP meetings, evaluations, and assessments
• Compassion for supporting students with varied communication needs, ranging from mild to severe
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse K-12 caseload, providing direct therapy and indirect services
• Conduct evaluations, draft IEP documents, and participate in meetings
• Travel between two assigned schools (paid travel/incentives provided)
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with educators and families
• Utilize the district’s IEP system (training provided)
• Participate in paid team meetings and receive administrative time for indirect hours
• Contribute your expertise to a supportive, student-focused environment
