Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist Job Description The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves delegation and direction of therapy services specific to the discipline for assigned patients. The Physical Therapist will ensure effective functional treatment programs for patients to achieve their return to community activities, while also serving as an educator for patients, families, and coworkers. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals. Ensure all care is based on signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals. Complete medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies. Participate in the training of students, providing supervision and feedback in a positive learning environment. Create individualized professional development plans and pursue ongoing professional growth through education and involvement in professional organizations. Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing. Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the service provided. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Desirable duration of 6 months of contract experience. Schedule This position operates on a 5x8 hour shift, requiring time split between two locations: Aurora and Highlands Ranch. Why ARMStaffing?
