Client: Infinite Computer Solutions Bill rate: $80 Pay rate: $69 Location: Columbus, OH Recruitment Manager: Sidhartha Arepally Job Title: z/OS Architect / Designer We need 1 senior Architect And we need 1 Experienced Developer Skill requirements * Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS Connect Designer, API toolkit, or Visual Studio Code tools for generating provider/requester projects and language structures. * Working knowledge of z/OS application environments such as CICS, IMS, Db2, COBOL, and PL/I. * Strong understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI 3.0, and API lifecycle design. * Ability to map mainframe data structures to JSON and back, using tools such as JSONata or the built-in mapping functions. * Familiarity with mainframe security concepts such as authentication, authorization, and API gateway-style controls. * Basic understanding of JCL, datasets, batch jobs, and z/OS development workflows is helpful for troubleshooting and deployment. Nice-to-have experience Experience with Azure API Management, enterprise integration, or hybrid-cloud modernization
