Event Staff - Parking Valet

 

Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour plus cash tip$! (average additional per shift take home ~$25.00)

Job Type: On-Call

Location: Houston, Texas

Shift & Schedule: Afternoon/Evening shifts available, but must be able to work Friday and Saturday evenings

Must Have: 2 Years Drivers License

Availability Requirements: Friday and Saturday evenings

We're hiring Event Valet Staff for high-energy events where first impressions matter. You'll be the first person guests see and the last person they thank — parking cars quickly, safely, and with a smile. If you drive well, move fast, and enjoy working a busy crowd with a good team around you, this is a great fit.

• Have you held a valid driver's license for at least 2 years?
• Are you available to work evenings and weekends?
• Able to consistently report to assigned event locations on time?

Employment is contingent on a background check completed after a conditional offer, consistent with applicable law.

 

Requirements:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 2 years
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Able to consistently report to assigned event locations on time
• Availability on evenings and weekends — that's when our events happen
• Comfortable standing, walking, and moving quickly for the length of a shift
• A friendly, professional presence and a team-first attitude

 

Good to haves:

• Valet parking: 1 year+
• Customer service: 1 year+

The physical demands of this position and the work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position. Physical Demands: the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools
or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects

Work Environment: the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The
employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment
can range from minimal to moderate.
