Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a hybrid role in outpatient oncology. The position involves supporting bone marrow procedures and providing direct patient care at our infusion center.

Shift Details

Hours: 8 hours per day
Schedule: 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Support bone marrow procedures at the CT location, working 1-2 days per week.
Provide direct patient care at the infusion center on remaining days.
Process specimens by placing them in appropriate containers.
Prepare slides and complete necessary paperwork.
Deliver all specimens to the Pathology Lab.
Work collaboratively with Interventional Radiology (IR) RN, who will manage sedation during procedures.

Qualifications

Current BLS certification.
Experience in chemotherapy administration.
Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
ONS Certification is required.

Additional Information

This position may require floating between various locations based on facility needs, specifically between Zion, Otay Mesa, and San Marcos.
