This is a full time, benefited position, generally working Monday-Friday from 0800-1700. Shifts may run later if provider is running behind. As a Clinic - RN in the Urology Department you will be responsible for: Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Providing direct patient care within the scope of practice -- this includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures and messages, emergency protocols, and medication administration. Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Handing patient communication, including making calls to provide information, follow up on care, responding to messages, and triaging. Maintaining sterility during procedures and adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: ADN or Nursing Diploma Required Certification/Registration: CA RN license American Heart Association BLS Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: BSN One year outpatient RN experience Previous Urology experience Experience placing Foley catheters Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adjust to changing patient needs
