About the Role As Associate Creative Director, Art Director, you will own the idea behind our biggest campaigns, from creative concepts, to the art direction of video and photography, to defining our verbal approach, and stay hands-on enough to prove the idea works. This is a hands-on role, you love ideating and producing work with creative partners. You will sit at the center of brand marketing campaign work spanning holistic brand campaigns, paid meta big swings, and turning real customer stories into work that makes people feel something. We expect you to challenge how we make creative, use AI, accelerate our ambitious goals, and bring a writer's instincts and an art director's eye to the same brief. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters or San Francisco office and will operate in a hybrid environment. We default to being in-office 3-4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the big idea by originating campaign platforms, creative approach, and written concepts that carry Genius AI across paid social, video, and brand moments
• Lead concept development for paid Meta big concepts, shaping work that earns attention in the feed and holds up against performance data
• Write the ideas yourself, including scripts, headlines, manifestos, and creative briefs that make the concept land before a single frame is designed
• Art direct customer story videos and photo shoots from treatment through final cut, including casting, shot lists, and edit feedback
• Build AI-powered creative workflows that speed up concepting, storyboarding, and production, and set the standard for how the team uses them
• Ship fast by showing work early, taking feedback in stride, and iterating quickly without lowering the bar for craft
• Tie every concept back to company goals and plan across the full marketing ecosystem, so brand, paid, lifecycle, product, and events all reinforce the same idea
• Mentor designers and editors, raising the level of craft and conceptual thinking across the team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 8+ years in art direction and concept development at an in-house brand team, creative agency, or brand studio, with a portfolio led by campaigns and video
• Fluent in AI: you use it to concept, storyboard, prototype, and produce, and you've built repeatable workflows, not just experimented with prompts
• Set direction and ship: you'd rather put a strong concept in front of people and iterate than spend weeks aligning before starting
• Copywriting craft that shows in your portfolio, including taglines, scripts, and narrative that stand on their own without the visuals
• Led the creative vision for video and photography shoots, from concept and treatment through final edit, with a clear point of view on story and approach
• Concepted paid social work that had to perform, with fluency in how creative earns attention in a feed
• Think in ecosystems, not assets: you connect creative to business goals and know how one idea moves through paid, lifecycle, product, events, and sales
